Your instructors
A Letter From Marie & Cassie
Dear Friend,
We want to personally welcome you to Parkinson’s and You: A Holistic Guide to Navigating Your Healing Journey.
This course was born out of our shared passion for helping people reclaim their power, even in the face of chronic illness. Over our combined 40+ years of experience in wellness, movement, and medicine, we’ve seen what happens when people are supported not just by treatments—but by understanding, connection, and self-awareness.
So often, Parkinson’s care can feel overwhelming and impersonal. We created this course because we believe healing should be about more than managing symptoms—it should be about learning what your body needs, listening to yourself, and building a path that feels right for you.
We’ve blended practical tools with intuitive guidance to help you move, eat, rest, and live with more intention. From posture work and nutrition to mindfulness and advocacy, everything in this course is designed to support your unique journey—at your own pace, in your own way.
You are not alone in this. Healing happens when we feel seen, empowered, and equipped. We hope this course helps you feel all three.
With care and encouragement,
Marie Knoetig Healing Art's Practitioner/Intuitive Wellness Consultant & Cassie Donnelly, FNP-C, IFMCP

Supports Self-Discovery
You’ll learn to observe your symptoms, energy, habits, and triggers—not just react to them. This builds awareness of what helps or hinders your healing, so you can make informed choices.
Offers Adaptable Tools, Not Rigid Rules
From movement to meals to mindfulness, everything is offered as a tool, not a mandate. You choose what feels right and leave what doesn’t. Your healing path is personal.
Helps You Understand Your Body
We demystify Parkinson’s by helping you understand how the nervous system, muscles, digestion, and stress response are connected—so you can care for yourself more effectively.
You’ll gain insight into both traditional and holistic approaches, giving you the knowledge to ask better questions, advocate for yourself, and find the right care team.
Normalizes the Emotional Side
Fear, grief, overwhelm—these are part of the journey. This course helps you see them as valid and manageable, not as weaknesses or failures.
Encourages Action (Without Pressure)
From small daily shifts to new ways of thinking, you’ll find ways to take action that feel doable and sustainable—even on hard days.
Creates Space for Your Inner Wisdom
Through journaling, reflection, and mindfulness, we help you tune into the part of you that knows what you need—even when things feel uncertain.

What Makes Parkinson’s and You Innovative
Whole-Person, Personalized Approach
Most programs focus on symptoms. *We focus on you. This course combines body, mind, and lifestyle—empowering you to understand your unique patterns, needs, and strengths.
Blends Medical and Holistic Insight
You get the best of both worlds: functional medicine and traditional care alongside body awareness, movement science, nutrition, and mindfulness—all delivered objectively and accessibly.
Self-Paced with Flexibility for Fluctuating Days
We know Parkinson’s looks different each day. The course is designed so you can take what you need when you're ready—without falling behind or feeling pressured.
Toolbox, Not Timeline
No rigid structure here. You’ll build a toolbox of skills—movement practices, mindset shifts, nervous system resets, and food strategies—that adapt with you over time.
Addresses the Emotional & Spiritual Side of Healing
This course speaks to the parts of healing that often go ignored—fear, identity, hope, and acceptance—giving space for reflection, processing, and personal growth.
Created by Experts Who Listen
Designed by a Healing Arts Practitioner and a Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner, this course is grounded in experience, empathy, and respect for individual paths.
